i am new to computers, so please dont except too much from me. i am single and enjoy it. i work full time as a nurse at my local hospital. been a nurse all my
life and worked in many different areas of nursing. i have been a school nurse and a matron in a boys prep school. i worked in a few hospitals in london and
know london well.
i started card making 2 years ago when i brought 5 cards from a shop and they wanted over 25 pounds for them. i went straight to lakeland and brought my first
kit and since then never brought cards except christmas cards. last september i got SKY and watch create and craft and watching from all the presenters my
skills in card making enhanced and last christmas i made around 100 cards. i make everyone i work with birthday cards and they are all impressed how my skills
in card making are improving. i like the decoupage, stamping and peel offs.
i am friendly and have a very good sense of humour and hoping to make new friends interesting in crafting. thank you

it was lovely to hear from you. I'm so glad that you get so much pleasure from your craftwork. I think that its more important to have fun than to aim for perfection. Don't forget that all the forum ladies were beginners once! I'd like to bet that your cards are extremely good and that you are far too critical of yourself which I think we all are. I'm not sure whereabouts you are but its a good confidence booster to join a class and learn some new skills/improve on those you already have. Your local craft shop probably runs classes or your local college. Its great to hear that you make cards for friends and family because a handmade card is so much more special than a bought one. I wish you continued success and pleasure from your crafts and am dead jealous of you not having to spend time picking up after a man. You also get to craft when you want and not worry about the mess. Or are you one of those tidy and organised crafters? Its been lovely to chat with you, hope you keep in touch!
